$ZENHOME for you is /usr/local/zenoss
try:
ln -s /usr/local/zenoss/common/share/mibs /usr/local/zenoss/share/mibs

From your $ZENHOME directory:
ln -s common/share/mibs share/mibs
If you don't have the $ZENHOME/share directory, you may have to
create it, then do the symlink.

The work-around is to create a symlink to common/share/mibs
from share/ mibs.
could you show me how to create the symlink
