So I'm perusing through Zenoss Core "Network and System Monitoring" and in
there it talks about the concept of having heartbeats that look for things such
as --MARK--

>From what I understand, ZenOSS looks for that string, and if it doesn't find
>it, it should create an event.

The thing is, I can't find anything that gives me a good understanding of how
to create that event so that it acts like a heartbeat.

I created the event in /Events/Heartbeat. I created the regexp, and now I'm
still not seeing it take.

Am I misunderstanding how this event is used? What am I missing?

I really need to have an ability to monitor for the absense of a string, and
that's what I thought /Events/Heartbeat was for...
