Hello all,

Thanks to everyone who create Zenoss. I have been using it for a few years now
and it has served it's purpose well. I use it right now to watch remote
endpoints over a VPN connection. The limitation is that I can only view devices
that have the VPN installed and have a VPN IP. I have been playing with
net-snmp and was able to use an embedded linux device to do an snmpwalk on a
windows host and I got a lot of results. Is there a way to make something like
this embedded linux device some sort of probe that scans an entire remote
network and relays it back to zenoss? if so, can someone point me in the right
direction for doing this?

Thanks in advance for your help and the cool Zenoss T-Shirt!
