Thanks, jmp242. I will try to find references to procedures for running discoveries from Cron jobs.
I wonder, though, how useful a network management system is if auto-discovery is not used. Even if I am only managing a bunch of servers in one location, I would not want to have to remember to run a discovery periodically and then classify a device appropriately.
