Greetings.

Been playing with Zenoss for a couple weeks now, and have all sorts of things
humming along nicely in it. One thing still has me a little baffled, though.

The IO graph for all my /Server/Linux boxes has been steadily growing over
time. It seems to be graphing cumulative IO, rather than point-in-time. A check
of the NET-SNMP template indicates that both datapoints are set to Gauge.

However, a check of the NET-SNMP docs at
http://www.net-snmp.org/docs/mibs/ucdavis.html indicates that both these values
are in fact counters (the deprecated ssIOSent and ssIOReceived were
gauge-types).

So my question is, shouldn't these be Counter (or more aptly, Derived with 0
limit) on the template?

Thanks,
Mike
