Hi I'm still experiencing problems with zeneventlog stopping, also zenmodeler is in heartbeat failure for months. Maybe these are related issues.
I've tried upgrading my Debian and to the latest Zenoss version, nothing seems to help. When I restart Zenoss or reboot the machine, the heartbeat failure on zenmodeler returns almost immediately and after a while zeneventlog goes down. When I restart it sometimes stays up for a few minutes, sometimes a few hours. Also zenmodeler doesn't seem to collect the new information every 720 minutes as configured. When I check the log for zenmodeler there is nothing remarkable only messages like these : 2009-01-09 11:47:49 INFO zen.ZenModeler: Running 81 clients 2009-01-09 11:47:49 INFO zen.ZenModeler: No WMI plugins found for diameter 2009-01-09 11:47:49 INFO zen.ZenModeler: No Python plugins found for diameter 2009-01-09 11:47:49 INFO zen.ZenModeler: Using SSH collection method for device diameter 2009-01-09 11:47:49 INFO zen.ZenModeler: plugins: zenoss.cmd.uname, zenoss.cmd.linux.ifconfig, zenoss.cmd.linux.process, zenoss.cmd.linux.netstat_an, zenoss.cmd.linux.memory, zenoss.cmd.linux.netstat_rn, zenoss.cmd.df 2009-01-09 11:47:49 INFO zen.ZenModeler: SNMP monitoring off for diameter 2009-01-09 11:47:49 INFO zen.ZenModeler: No portscan plugins found for diameter 2009-01-09 11:47:49 INFO zen.ZenModeler: Running 82 clients What could be causing these heartbeat failures on zenmodeler ? -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://forums.zenoss.com/viewtopic.php?p=29940#29940 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
