Alright so I used to be a regular here in my last position i setup a zenoss
server on a fedora core 8 box. now I'm with a new company and i'd like to
setup a zenoss installation but I've got some questions and I'm really hoping
someone can give me good answers. So coming into this thing there was no
network monitors here, and no help desk tracking software. my first order of
business was to setup an ubuntu 8.04 workstation (i needed the gui) and I
installed OTRS to help me track tickets. now I want to run zenoss as well.
first off would I use the debian 4 package of zenoss, or would I use the Ubuntu
8.04 server install. Second, the OTRS install is running on the apache server
port 80, is this something that can be worked around in zenoss or am I going to
need to setup a second Linux server to handle this. I feel I'm fairly decent
with Linux but by no means an expert or even advanced user. This community has
gotten me through many a hard problem with zenoss, and I'm ho
ping for the same result now.

Thanks in advance,
Beer
