Thanks to jmp242, I tried playing with snmp to no avail regarding the issue. I just cannot believe I did not found that thread that Cluther point just now.
Thanks Cluther for that info. And I thought the lackness of that particular OID in Ubuntu are due to the security reason of some sort. I guess nothing much I can do, since I monitor lots of Ubuntu machine currently. I guess I can live with that.
