OK great! Finally got this fixed! With a little research on the above transform I was able to apply this to the problem IP addresses as well;
Before this awesome transform I was seeing this; FIELD VALUE cipSecEndPtHistLocalAddr1 ÿÿÿ� Now, after applying this magic transform I get the following; FIELD cipSecEndPtHistLocalAddr1 192.168.103. 0 Sooo, here is the magic transform; evt.cipSecEndPtHistLocalAddr1 = ".".join(map(lambda c: "%3d" % ord(c), evt.cipSecEndPtHistLocalAddr1)) Thanks so much for all your help in this issue!
