I generate a report of outages for each team meeting. Here is what I do:
         Login to Zenoss

         Goto the Event Console

         Click on View Event History... 

         Change the Sev to Critical

         Change the date range

         Download as CSV from the drop down menu

         Open the CSV in Excel

I can then can easily use the sort/filter features to remove anything shorter 
than 15 minutes and hide or delete the unneeded columns. 

This could probably be done more simply but all the tools are available today 
with no programming required. You could use OpenOffice or other alternatives so 
you aren't even tied to Excel to do your work.
