Hi all - first post :D Same kind of issue here: I have a SuSE Linux-host that was responding to ping for about an hour and then went "down". Turns out it has a rule in iptables that is trigger after what it thinks is a "ping-burst":
Code: LOG icmp -- anywhere anywhere limit: avg 3/min burst 5 LOG level warning tcp-options ip-options prefix `SFW2-INext-DROP-DEFLT ' Any way to change the Zenoss ping-setting(s) to get around a situation like this without altering the firewall-rule? -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://forums.zenoss.com/viewtopic.php?p=31597#31597 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
