I think the following will achieve the result you want. It seems logical to me,
anway. No guarantees, though. :)
Create an alerting rule, named "Weekdays"
Set the "Delay (secs)" field to "300" (5 minutes)
Set the "Repeat Time (secs)" field to however often you'd like the
alert to repeat
Click on the "Schedule" tab and add a "Rule Window", named "Working
Hours"
Set "Enabled" to "True"
Guessing that the work day is from 9:00a - 5:00p, set the "Start" to
today @ 09:00
Set the "Duration" to "0 days, 08 hours, 00 minutes"
Set "Repeat" to "Every Weekday"
Create an alerting rule, named "Weekends"
Set the "Delay (secs)" field to "3600" (1 hour)
Set the "Repeat Time (secs)" field to however often you'd like the
alert to repeat
Click on the "Schedule" tab and add a "Rule Window", named "Off-Hours"
Set "Enabled" to "True"
Click on the "select" button in the "Start" region and choose last
Saturday from the Calendar
Set the "Start" time to 00:00
Set the "Duration" to "2 days, 00 hours, 00 minutes"
Set "Repeat" to "Weekly"
