hi there, I upgraded from 2.3.3 this just now to 2.4.0 on Linux (Ubuntu 8.04).
Once I've logged in I get a "Server Connection error" in the bottom right corner and appears on each page load (page change or item click). Is this just a notification that I have a server down? Google maps API locations are a little messed up, all of my sites were correctly located in the previous version (and kept through previous upgrades) but after this update, the update 6 of those have apparently moved from London to various places in east Africa and one is in the middle of the Atlantic now. having played a bit it seems those with full address are the problem, if I remove every and only leave the UK post code it appears to then site them correctly. which I've done without too much trouble. under Daemons - zenjobs is stopped but I assume this is normal. All other Daemons are running. other the server error message above, everything else seems to be running just file. Also I needed to do a server reboot to get Zenoss to start clean (may have something to do with Firefox caching the old details too). Ubuntu 8.04 is fully up to date with patches. -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://forums.zenoss.com/viewtopic.php?p=34438#34438 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
