I have a set of devices the use snmp port 8001 instead of the default 161. I
have defined a new device class with zSnmpPort=8001 and placed these devices in
that device class. When I create a performance template, and test an OID, the
test host does not respond because it does not look like it's using the port
specified in the zProperties.

I thought maybe it was just an error with the test function built into the
performance template tool, so I then binded the template to a host and
re-modeled the host. Even this returns an error too saying the OID is bad. I
know the host is setup to respond because I am able to query via the command
line by:

snmpwalk -v2c -c <community string> <IP:port> <OID>

This works. Does anyone know if zSnmpPort is broken in the SNMP performance
monitor? Is anyone successfully using Zen to monitor a host that does not use
port 161.

Thanks much in advance!
