I have the same issue, probably since the upgrade from zenoss 2.3 to 2.4.
Zenoss creates the event with a summary "threshold of Operational State" and
the clears the event with a summary "Threshold of Operational State"
There is a difference in using upper and lower case. I don't have time to
test this myself right now but could you change the line in the code from
if evt.summary.startswith('threshold of Operational State'):
to
if evt.summary.startswith('threshold of Operational State', re.I):
to make it case insensitive
