Hi atrawog,

Yes, I am using 2.4.2 source install on Ubuntu 8.04.3 LTS 64-bit. Installed the
ttf-liberation too, but the RRDtool graph text still rectangular.

zen...@zenoss:~$ dpkg -l | grep liberation
ii ttf-liberation 1.0-0ubuntu1 Free fonts with the same metrics as Times, A

Also restart zenoss, doing the dmd.Devices.reIndex(), commit() ritual, even the
reindex(), commit(), zenmigrate

All those failed. Basically, I am upgrading from 2.3.3 database to 2.4.2 since
2.4.1 having problem with ssh conch library (and I am using a lot of SSH
monitoring for external servers - but that is different issue)

Do you have Xorg + dependencies installed on your machine atrawog?

Thanks
