Latest update. As this is my first install/evaluation of Zenoss, all of the devices monitored on my system were under the Discovered class.
I have move devices to more appropriate/descriptive class assigments. The zenmodeler /Cmd/Fail events did not occur overnight. Looking at the zProperties for the Discovered class, I noted the entries under the zCollectionPlugins attribute. Some of the entries seem to reference "cmd" actions. I have note researched the implications of these settings.
