I may be missing something about the protocols.

In testing I find when I try to send and email, my ISP and other mail servers
reject the attempt and say the IP address of my SMTP server is black listed.
Not suprising since my evaluation is on an unofficial server using a DSL
connection.

When I send email on my personal account, I use POP3 to receive and assumably
send messages. The POP3 service requres that I authenticate with a user ID and
password.

As far as I know, corporate email works the same using IMAP in an MS Exchange
installation.

Although I may work out my black list problem in the future; I was looking for
a way to send emails for testing using an established account and providing
authentication credentials.
