I was able to copy my dB from the Zenoss server to my new MySQL server but the 
catalog import fails. Looked like a problem with permissions but I didn't want 
to spend too much time troubleshooting and I wanted a fresh install anyway.

Installing from source is a little more involved but it's not too bad. I've 
done it plenty of times although I must admit I got spoiled by using the stack 
installer so I'm a little rusty and it's taking me longer than it used to
