I have the same problem. To clarify, I created a second LOCAL collector so
devices managed by the second collector could have a different cycle intervals.
When I create a new device directly under the second local collector, the
perf/Devices/{devicename} folder isn't created likewise neither are the RRD
files underneath.
However, if I create a device under the default collector 'localhost', the
device folder is created as are the rrd files. Then I can update the device to
use the second local collector, and that seems to collect and update RRD graphs
just fine.
So it seems that when devices are discovered by the second local collector it's
not creating the device folder and rrd files. But that's a problem since if I
want different cycle interval times for the second local collector, I'll have
to delete my rrd files I think to get the intervals corrected in rrd.
