Hello,
I have a server with zentyal (last version) installed with PDC and
RADIUS services's configured and APs configured to authenticate usters
with WPA.
In the Windows 7, I add a new configuration in the "wireless network
manager" with the SSID + WPA
after this, I change the advance configuration to choice "EAP-TTLS"
and disable the "validate certificate verification"
and for last, in this "Configuration" of EAP-TTLS I select "Use the
username and password of Windows".
so.. with this configuration, the Windows 7 connect fine with the APs.
but, If I change "Use the username and password of Windows" for
"Request username and password", Windows 7 can't connect to network.
I tried with "user+pass", "domain\user+pass" and various other
combination with success.
In the freeradius log's the only difference is in the User-Name:
===================
Message-Authenticator = 0x9ac0d094zxzxzxz42e0a20dbfc731f9d9e5a22c
Service-Type = Framed-User
User-Name = "mrios"
Framed-MTU = 1488
Called-Station-Id = "00-22-B0-5F-XX"
Calling-Station-Id = "5C-AC-4C-XX-XX-XX"
NAS-Identifier = "D-Link Access Point"
NAS-Port-Type = Wireless-802.11
Connect-Info = "CONNECT 54Mbps 802.11g"
EAP-Message = 0x0200000a016d72696f73
NAS-IP-Address = 192.168.1.XX
NAS-Port = 1
NAS-Port-Id = "STA port # 1"
====================
because, when I select the "use the user and password of windows" the
"User-Name" show the username...
but, If I select "Request the user and password" the "User-Name" in
the log is empty !! :(
I find a alternative to use Wifi with WPA protocol with users that
don't are in the windows domain.
so... what is bad ?? the syntax in the "username" (maybe the correct
is the "u...@domain+password) ?? other ??
thanks
