Chris, > I assume you're using MacPorts' build of libtool?
Definitely not. I am using a stock libtool/glibtool that comes with Apple's XCode. In my experience, this is the most common build setup for Macs. > the autogen.sh step is a one-time thing. I realize that autogen.sh is a one-time thing. But, if it is part of the toolchain for developers, it should work on all platforms that use autotools. Plus, I think it is an easy fix.
