Thanks for the advice, but it did not change much.
Even with tcp instead of epgm in C it continues working
fine and in Java it does not. But I noticed that using the
Java subscriber and C publisher do work fine.
This is true both for tcp and epgm.
It seems the Java publisher sends nothing for some reason.
