sorry, no. i having been banging hard on this for a couple of years now.
and somewhat often, the receiving process on the other end is not there.
(and thats ok, i send pub/sub so it just quietly drops on the floor.)
but this is the first/only time its failed in this way.
i think its a local dns failure...
