Actually, looks like I may have screwed up the makefile, not sure how the CI 
build worked.

Can you try adding

test_ctx_destroy_SOURCES = test_ctx_destroy.cpp

above the test_security_null_SOURCES line in Makefile.am, see if that works.

I don't really use make, so am winging it.

Yes, I did. In fact, I tried a full install from scratch in a new test 
directory :
