We are planning to write to different Human Rights and Humanitarian
Organizations in US requesting help to Br Bant Singh in cash or kind.
As we are not aware of the actual details of the case (except learning it
through Newspapers), I request you to send us a write-up on the case so as to
present the case with factual accuracy.
We need the following details:
Case history (past and present)
How the incident happened
Current situation of Bant Singh
Family and financial details (family size, financial situation etc)
Please find some time in your busy schedule to help us to get this write-up.

Thanks for your mail. We very much appreciate your efforts on behalf of Bant
Singh, and we are pleased to have the chance to work with your organisation on
this. I met Baljit, Bant Singh's daughter, when she came to Delhi on 27 Jan and
also met some of his colleagues in the Mazdoor Mukti Morcha (AIALA) of which he
is a leader. As you may know, we are fundraising too (in fact the petition info
went out with an appeal) and sending the money to them as their members are at
his side and are directly involved in monitoring his treatment on a daily
basis. The address for sending donations is Bant Singh Treatment Fund, AIALA
c/o CPI(ML) Central Office, U90 Shakarpur Delhi 110092. We appreciate that
different groups are involved in fundraising which is great but we have a
policy that a specific website for this should not be advertised on the
petition. However we cannot delete the comment without deleting the signature.
So please could you ask your colleague Vazrakiran Paul Kaila to send
their signature again, this time without the comment about your website.
Also, we having a demonstration in London on 3 March outside the Indian High
Commission which will coincide with the gherao of the Punjab Assembly onthis
issue. We hope that your colleagues in Britain will be involved with this.
