Dear Kalpana, I am Benjamin Paul Kaila, one of the founders of The Ambedkar Scholarships, a project to help bright Dalit students. I would like to thank you on behalf of Ambedkar Scholarships for creating online petition on behalf of Br Bant Singh. I do not know how useful it is, but it at least useful to express our protest against the barbaric acts that are being perpetuated on the most vulnerable community of India, Dalits, in the name of shameless caste system even in this 21st century. It also boosts the morale of Br Bant Singh as many people are showing their solidarity in his hour of great suffering and agony. I thank you for that. We, at Ambedkar Scholarships, took up the task of collecting donations to help him and his family of 9 people. Every penny will be accounted for and all donations will be posted on our website for transparency. So, if anyone wants to help, please visit our website www.ambedkarscholarship,org for further details.
I admire his words I've still got my voice I can still sing! in one of his interviews. What an amazing courage!!! I request you post some of the news items on him on your petition, if that is possible With regards Benjamin ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ An educated man without character and humility was more dangerous than a beast.
