Torching of Dalit houses: Hooda assures strict action STAFF WRITER 18:27 HRS IST Chandigarh, Apr 27 (PTI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today said strict action will be initiated against those responsible for torching of Dalit houses at a village in Hisar and announced an ex gratia of Rs 10 lakh to the kin of the deceased. He promised a financial assistance of Rs 25,000 and free treatment to each of the injured besides government job to one family member of the deceased. The chief minister, while on a visit to houses of the victims, also announced two quintals of wheat to their families and said compensation will be provided for damages to houses and domestic goods.
