Thank you Shivam for posting the poem. I was away from the country for a while so couldn't respond to your request for introducing myself to fellow group members. Well, you did my job yourself by so graciously introducing me on the list more than once. I was born and brought up in Karachi, went to school in Karachi and college/university in Karachi and London, initially trained as an engineer, switched to professional work in the sectors of community development and human rights. Literature is my passion and poetry my first love. I am interested in politics and the issues of identity, language, separation and belonging.
