. reminded me this quaint anthology of 'nine indian women poets
' i had once picked up from the daryaganj book bazaar, one sweaty sunday. it was also edited by enunice, herself.
and by all means, my personal favorite by enunice is,
its time to find a place
it's time to find a place
to be silent with each other.
i have prattled endlessly
in staff-rooms, corrridors, restaurants.
when you're not around
i carry on conversations in my head.
even this poem
has forty-eight words too many
