I like the way you have unhesitatingly used the word 'appa' and also 
the way you have captured various minor details pertaining to the 
idiosyncrasies of South Indian men, like holding the towel under the 
armpit! I wish you had also mentioned the way in which they hold the 
end of their "veshti" or "lungi" up and go about showing their bare 
legs...

The poem is very natural and simple in its appeal with no such 
tendency as to embellish excessively with words. Liked it! :)
