Yes that risk is there.
I would highly recommend against using a ZVOL as a cache device for
another pool because of this bug and also because it may actually hurt
performance instead of helping it. It is actually pretty hard to work
out exactly how a ZVOL will act as an L2ARC cache device for another pool.
