This is for a contract need at the Congressional research service (which is a part of the Library of Congress for a subject matter expert to help in the migration from an old version of Novell ZenWorks to the current one. They had someone on the project who walked out and need to fill it asap! 1000 users and they prefer someone who has experience with a migration from the old version to the current version. Req:2 Role: Documentum Architecht Location – Rockville, MD Duration – 1 Year Rate – Open Detailed Job Description: The Documentum Architect will use their past experience of knowing how to “put it all together” to work with other members of the team responsible for the definition of document management solutions leveraging Documentum across the enterprise. He / She will report directly to the Chief Architect and work with various development teams. Primary Responsibilities: • Serve as the organization’s Document Management guru. • Provide architectural guidance designing, developing and deploying of applications using Documentum as a development platform. • Provide architectural guidance for building shared a Documentum- based environment. Some of this architecture will be “green field” and other areas will require refining and advocating existing patterns. • Provide a big picture view of how tool decisions impact the overall solution (cause / effect of decisions) and how Documentum fits into the overall enterprise architecture. • Design applications using Documentum 5.3. • Define Document Management platform standards. • Design SOAP-based services to access/modify data stored in Documentum. • Design integration approach for Documentum-based solutions with Active Directory, portals and COTS products. • Manages the governance processes related to Document Management. • Some development of architectural / foundational components. Technical Skills Required: • 12 – 15 years experience in enterprise development. • 5 – 8 years of hands-on experience with Documentum development (version 5.3 and higher is preferred) spanning multiple companies or implementations. • 2 -3 years of experience with Documentum architecture (version 5.3 and higher is preferred) spanning multiple companies or implementations. • 3 – 5 years hands-on J2EE or C / C++ experience. • Demonstrated experience with Enterprise Content Management best practices. • WebTop. • Documentum Foundation Classes (DFC). • Documentum BPS / BPM. • Web Services. • XML/XSLT. • Extensive knowledge of programming methodology and development life cycle. Functional Skills Required: • Ability to work across groups. Req:3 Role: Senior Business Intelligence Business Analyst Location – Rockville, MD Duration – 6 Month Rate – Open The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual with strong BI knowledge and experience supporting the design and specification of data presentation and decision-making efforts. An extensive background as a Business Analyst with experience writing detailed business requirements, working with dedicated development team to continually articulate requirements on behalf of the business and troubleshooting production issues including new BI products, applications, data requirements and reports is required. This BIA will be responsible for acting as the primary interface between technology and specific product areas (business executives, research analysts, IT staff, etc.). They will identify business unit requirements, create project and process specifications, and will help coordinate information for project teams. A successful candidate will be knowledgeable of both technology processes (e.g. SDLC, QA) and the business area supported. They will also serve as the liaison between the business team and the development team to see project through from beginning to end. This role requires a positive, enthusiastic, results-oriented professional with excellent attention to details, a passion for owning and producing top-quality deliverables, and a disciplined work ethic for meeting deadlines and commitments. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual with deep analytical and problem solving skills, and have hands-on experience utilizing MicroStrategy's advanced reporting and analytical tools to support the implementation of data presentation and decision-making BI projects. As a member of the Business Intelligence Team, you will be part of a fast-paced environment committed to delivering critical strategic and operating insights to key business executives and decision makers. You will utilize MicroStrategy to tap into AARP's data resources and build an essential library of standard and custom reports. Teamwork is essential as this position involves extensive interaction and collaboration with members of the AARP business units and Business Intelligence Team.
