*Job Title : Datastage/Quality Stage Developer Location : Dallas, TX (Locals Needed) Duration : 2+ Months* * Description : * As a DataStage / QualityStage Developer you will be part of a team that is responsible for the development and implementation of code in the Data Warehouse. * * *Requirements: * * * 3+ years of experience doing ETL development in a Data Warehouse environment. 3+ years experience in IBM DataStage. 1+ years of experience in IBM QualityStage. Knowledge of SQL is essential. Experience with SQL Server stored procedures is desired. A BA/BS degree in a technical field or related discipline is required. Familiarity with various SDLC models and development methodologies. Ability to creatively solve challenging business/technology problems. Ability to learn quickly, master our existing systems and identify opportunities for improvement. Proven ability to work cross functionally to drive the implementation of new features as well as resolve operational issues. Must be a self-starter, who is accustomed to working with aggressive project timelines and who has a strong history of delivering high quality technical solutions to data-based business problems. * * *Responsibilities: * * * Create design documentation based on business requirements and functional specifications. Develop solutions in DataStage and QualityStage as directed by management. Work with other ETL and BI developers to create new ETL jobs that adhere to standards and best practices. Provide design and code reviews as necessary. Effectively estimate work and deliver high quality results on schedule.
