Analyzes and resolves problems associated with server hardware and applications software. Detects, diagnoses, and reports related problems on the server. Duties include installing and maintaining (from a server or system perspective) operating systems, database management systems, and programming tools. Monitors and tunes systems software and networks for optimal performance. Also installs new user accounts, creates batch administration scripts and run systems backups and disaster recovery operations. *Skills Required: * -Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology with at least 5 years of related work experience. *Required*: -WebSphere Application Server and IHS/Apache server Administration Proven problem solving and debugging skills Effective written and verbal communication skills as well as analytical ability. -Working knowledge of IBM WAS Version 6.
