The primary task will be to assist in validation by writing and implementing test plans. Must be skilled at writing apps and dlls in C++ and C#. Labview and Teststand experience would be a major plus. The consultant will need to be able to look at the firmware and decide how to test it. Once complete, he will write the test software on a PC that would interface to the embedded system over RS232 to do the testing and get the results. The test software would be written in C# using DLLs. Zigbee and any cellular knowledge are pluses.
