Many of you felt a fond affection for Marc Schindler and I know that you
will miss him. I just wanted to offer you my condolences and let you know
that I share your grief. Almost exactly a year ago my daughter Rebekah and
I spent the night with Marc and his wife Kathy in their home in Edmonton on
our way from Provo to Prince Rupert, B.C. Marc and I sat up late into the
night discussing our various email list adventures and people we have known
online. But while I was there, it was evident that he was suffering
terribly from his health problems. I have never enjoyed debating with an
online friend more than I enjoyed the debate with Marc. I will miss him a
lot as I'm sure you all will.
