Every six months the Church membership sustains the First Presidency and the Twelve as "prophets, seers, and revelators." All fifteen of these men are sustained by the Church general conference as prophets. But no, Elder Bruce R. McConkie was never the President of the Church. He was "a" prophet, but he wasn't "the" Prophet.
