The required patches for U4 upgrade haven't been published yet, and some of them are (I think) still T-patches. I don't think you have installed the right ones. In fact, 72099 says this in the Description: Patch information for the Solaris 10 8/07 version of Solaris Live Upgrade will be added as soon as possible after the release of Solaris 10 8/07. It is not possible to use the Solaris 10 8/07 Live Upgrade packages on a previous version of Solaris without following the Solaris 10 8/07 patch requirements that will be detailed in this document.
