It turns out this was an old problem - another pool have a filesystem
called zoneRoot (but not the same mounpoint). Exporting this pool fixes
the issue. I'd even filed a bug (a duplicate of *Bug 15594*
<https://defect.opensolaris.org/bz/show_bug.cgi?id=15594> which I see is
fixed in b157) for this last year!
