Right, I will tr to look into that in the future. I have a suspicion
that the whole zope.app.authentication framework is more complicated
than it has to be part due to the requirements of the whole etc/
framework.
It's possible that it's too complicated, but I can't see how to
blame site-management folders.

Hm, you should be able to. This was badly broken a few months
ago and it was improved, but I never looked at what was done. I guess
I'd better do that.
