Bob, I commend you for what you do.  "The littlest good deed is 
better than the grandest good intention."

And while you're at it, could you also share with them that it's not 
enough to just rely on the gov't but the citizens have to do their 
part too?  As simple as not littering.  People complain about baha, 
pero patuloy pa rin ang pagtatapon sa kalsada kaya nagbabara mga 
kanal.  We complain about corrupt officials, pero ang mga tao, 
mahilig naman maglagay instead na mag go thru sa proper procedure 
(e.g. applying for a driver's license).
