Thanks for your help, Brad.

If I use authz tag, I need to specify a specific role, but I am looking for a
way to check if a user has logged in, no matter what roles the user has used to
login.

Subject: Re: [Acegisecurity-developer] how to check user logged in

Richard,

Have you tried the authz.tld taglib that comes with the project?

If not, you can use this to get the username <authz:authentication
operation="username"/>, although I am not sure what happens when the user is
not logged in as this is located only in the secured portion of my application
...

I do this to display links only to certain roles in my schema <authz:authorize
ifAllGranted="ROLE_USER"> </authz:authorize>.

You can read about the taglib in the Acegi reference documenation at
www.acegisecurity.org/docbook/acegi.pdf in section 1.7.4.

Good luck and congratulations to the group on the upcoming 1.0 final release.

Hi there,

How do you check a user has logged in? I just want to only display the
logout link when a user has logged in.

Thanks
