Dear Masters The main aim of theoretical part of geoststistics is to derive mean and variance of ore to practice miner. Spatial statistics has different asymptotic properties then ordinary statistics then to find the best linear unbiased estimator of an unknown mean (and variance) of ore we have to remove one (spatial) asymptotic limit on computer.
