I got this too.
Maybe BitDefender is using more or less the same trick ClamAV used to
"retire" old products?
I throw BDC out of the box. But you may attempt downloading and installing
the latest unix version. Besides, it doesn't anymore seem free to me.
If I'm not wrong, this is the link you should use to download the latest
unix version:
