Can we share a few thoughts ?  
How do you spawn the ant process from within your plugin programmatically or manually 
( user selects a build.xml and run as Ant build ) ?
We do it programmatically and spawn the ant process in the separate jvm, so that we 
dont have memory leak problems !

        I'm using Eclipse and Ant to start AndroMDA and it works fine for me...
