office software, and fixes bugs and potential security vulnerabilities.

OpenOffice.org Site is moving to New Infrastructure

We are preparing the move of the OpenOffice.org main site to a new infrastructure. Project Kenai provides the framework that is already the basis for sites like kenai.com, odftoolkit.org and major parts of netbeans.org and java.net.

A staging site allows a preliminary insight. For more information on how a Kenai-based site works, about the data migration and feedback channels visit the project page.

Improved Localization Process thanks to the Continuous L10n

The OOo process has been changed into a continuous process that enables l10n turnarounds cycles at every milestone. This process was presented at the OOoConf In Budapest: and is the outcome of Gregor Hartmann, Ivo Hinkelmann and Rafaella Braconi working on the so called "Continuous L10n" project.  Read More »
