This is all part of the cover up and the "big lie" campaign to perpetuate
the myth that the bombing was an "accident". and based on "outdated maps".
Bullshit! The bombing was deliberate and planned. It was meant as warning to
the Chinese not to assist the Serbs who were defending themselves and their
country from NATO ! They had to concoct this ludicrous story and offer a
phoney, public apology to China to cover up their crimes. This was an act of
war against China!
This CIA scumbag was their sacrificial lamb in the cover up. He's only
arguing that it wasn't his fault they used outdated maps, not that this was
a deliberate and criminal act of war.

> WASHINGTON - A CIA operative claims in a lawsuit that the US bombing of
> the Chinese Embassy in Belgrade in 1999 could have been avoided if his
> boss had checked sources with firsthand knowledge of the Yugoslav
> capital.
>
> The 46-year-old operative of Russian origin, identified only by the
> pseudonym Mitford, claims he is among mid- and lower-ranking agency
> employees 'blamed falsely' for the mistaken bombing, which killed three
> Chinese journalists.
>
> The US called the attack a mistake caused by faulty intelligence and use
> of outdated maps. The CIA said it fired one official and disciplined six
> others.
>
> The lawsuit was filed in 1999 in the US District Court in Washington.
>
> The operative's claims about the targeting error during Nato's air war
