Nathan, I will check it out in the debugger. I tried to reproduce it just now, but after running for a few minutes (and a couple sceduled procs) it did not hang on shutdown. I will let it run for a while and see if it happens again (it had happened the last several times I restarted though). In the debbugger nThreads was 0 every time I restarted so obviously whatever it was waiting for does not show up immediately. Annoying.
Also, this is on redhat 7.3 kernel 2.4.19.
