[Arsperl-users] arsperl 1.91 x86_64 7.5

I know this topic has come up a few times; but where does 1.91-HEAD stand wrt supporting x86_64 ?

# perl -e 'use ARS'

 at -e line 1
Compilation failed in require at -e line 1.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at -e line 1.

Just wondering if it's one of those "never gonna happen"; or "soon".

i know some of the work-around's are to compile perl32, etc. Just curious if it's even possible with the 7.5 api. So far i've gotten to (with the HEAD 1.92 and 7.5): Can't load '/usr/lib64/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/x86_64-linux-thread-multi/ auto/ARS/ARS.so' for module ARS: /usr/lib64/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/ x86_64-linux-thread-multi/auto/ARS/ARS.so: undefined symbol: u_toupper_3_2 at /usr/lib64/perl5/5.8.8/x86_64-linux-thread-multi/ DynaLoader.pm line 230.
